Welcome to the Boynton village website. Boynton is a small village located in East Riding of Yorkshire, which is near to the coastal town of Bridlington. It is situated on the B1253 York Scenic Route and nestles on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. A small community with Boynton Hall the previous seat of the Strickland Family. The Parish Church of St Andrews, standing next to the gates to the Hall, has a turkey lectern to commemorate the bringing in of turkeys to England by William Strickland. The village is surrounded by farmland and trees and has the Gypsey Race, the most northern of East Yorkshire's chalk streams, running through.
